What I'm Listening to This Week: Miley Cyrus, Sectiontoo, and Megan Thee Stallion

Need some new music? In this edition of What I'm Listening to This Week, I'm recommending the new Miley Cyrus album, a sweet R&B-soul EP by Sectiontoo, and a little Megan Thee Stallion for anyone who's tired of the bullsh*t and just wants to twerk on something. Here's what you should slam the play button on this week, and why.

Hot Summer album alert! Megan Thee Stallion's first full-length album is one you're going to want on repeat for the next two months at least. I've been listening to Fever while running, while pregaming, and while cleaning my apartment (I know I'm not the only person who twerks while vacuuming!) and I highly suggest it for your "Bad Bitch" playlist (I know I'm not the only person with a "Bad Bitch" playlist).

Standout track: "Pimpin" — because as Drake said, it's time to start wearing less and going out more.

This seven-song album from R&B-soul artist Sectiontoo was graciously sent to me by a coworker, and I was in from the first few notes.

Standout track: "Trophies" — because I was expecting it to be a Drake cover and was pleasantly surprised that it isn't. As my coworker said, "I knew you'd like this one."

I'll admit I was. . . dubious of Cyrus's EP based on the promo art, but then I reminded myself that she's never let me down before.

Standout track: "D.R.E.A.M." — because it's a more grown-up version of "We Can't Stop," and I love a depressive party anthem.
