The latest episode of 9 Months With Courteney Cox sheds a whole new light on how unconventional families face decisions both during and after the birth of their children. First we see Priya and Nil, a couple who became pregnant after intense pressure from their families. Priya has her labor induced since the baby stopped gaining weight, and she manages having her mother-in-law in the room during a difficult birth.
Teen couple Andrew and Angelina come to a final decision about an open adoption and which family they want to adopt their child. Jason and Adam finally get to take their triplets home, but their surrogate, Jessie, struggles with unexpected postpartum depression that renders her almost unable to leave her house. She decides to talk to a psychiatrist and face the difficulties she is experiencing.
