The season finale of 9 Months With Courteney Cox has arrived. Over the course of 20 episodes, we saw a cross section of America open up their lives in a very real and raw way. Ten families took us along on their journeys through pregnancy, sharing every moment on camera. They've gone through it all: adoption, miscarriage, surrogacy, IVF, and more.
In the final episode, we revisit all 10 families and catch up on their new lives, as parents. First, we see Angelina and Andrew, a teen couple dealing with the harsh reality of adoption. After giving birth to a beautiful baby girl, Angelina sits in the hospital holding her newborn for a final time. The adoptive parents, Amy and Jerome, arrive ready to meet their new daughter. Although the decision to give their daughter away was a difficult one, Angelina and Andrew are content knowing that she will live a healthy life with a family that can love and care for her unconditionally.
Courteney Cox makes her first on-camera appearance during a visit to see Jason and Adam, a couple whose surrogate became pregnant with triplets. Courteney sits down with their surrogate to discuss the difficult pregnancy and her unexpected postpartum depression. In Arizona, after 10 years of infertility, Candace and Tim can finally call themselves parents. Meanwhile, Paula, a 50-year-old single mother, cares for her twin baby girls. At times, she gets defensive when judged for her circumstance, but Paula remains strong. "No one can bring up these girls better than I can because I wanted them so desperately," Paula says. "They are going to have more love than they know what to do with."
