Amy Schumer Isn't Sugar-Coating Her Pregnancy — Yes, Even on Christmas

Amy Schumer spent part of her Christmas in a less-than-ideal setting — on the side of the road, puking. The comedian and expecting mom recently shared a candid video of herself getting sick while on a drive, followed by several pictures of herself cuddling with dogs on the couch and the floor. "And so this is Christmas," Amy wrote on Instagram.

She has been brutally honest about her pregnancy woes since sharing the news in October. Amy first spoke about battling intense morning sickness after sharing an ultrasound video of her energetic baby. "It's moving all around . . . That's why I'm puking every day," she said at the time.

Shortly after, Amy disclosed she was actually suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness. The condition forced her to cancel several comedy shows. In her post, Amy said, "I have hyperemesis and it blows. Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bullsh*t!"

While hyperemesis gravidarum continues to give her a hard time, the good news is that symptoms tend to decrease in the latter half of one's pregnancy. Until then, at least Amy is surrounded by plenty of pets to cheer her up.
