Bride's Wedding Dreams Come True as Photographer Incorporates Late Daughter Into Photos

Thanks to some beautiful photography and Photoshop magic, Amanda Crowe Free has a wedding photo she had only dreamed about. As Amanda was planning her Dec. 13 wedding, she knew she wanted to incorporate her daughter into the day in a special way, but 6-year-old Azalee Mae Carroll Crowe passed away two years ago after battling stage five neuroblastoma.

So Amanda reached out to her friend and photographer Ashley Frantz and asked for a favor. Could Ashley create a wedding photo that included an image of Azalee? The photo Ashley created and shared via Facebook has since gone viral with more than 104,000 "likes" and almost 15,000 shares. The image shows Amanda kissing and holding hands with a translucent Azalee.

"She's a dear friend to me and so when she asked, I knew I had to figure how to make it happen," Ashley told Yahoo7. "I wanted to create the photo for her because I'm a mom myself and I can't imagine life without my daughter."

On her Facebook page, Ashley shared what an honor it was for her to create the image:

Finally get to share one of the most beautiful and difficult pictures I've ever been asked to do. This is my wonderful...

"You can't put a price tag on the happiness she has brought to my broken heart," Amanda said of the image. "Azalee was my best friend, and the love we shared was so special and Ashley knows that and she put her heart into creating a beautiful memory for me."

But that wasn't the only touching moment on the wedding day. Amanda and her new husband, Chip, also released monarch butterflies to honor Azalee during the ceremony. Upon their release, one butterfly flew to the bride and perched itself near Amanda's heart before settling on a nearby tree. Ashley captured the moment in a photo that Amanda is sure to cherish, writing, "We all know it was Azalee, just a little whisper from her and God saying 'congratulations' and letting everyone know she was nearby to help her mommy cross over into her new path of life . . . where there is nothing but sunshine ahead!!"
