Check Your Medicine Cabinets! Pfizer Just Recalled Bottles of Children's Advil

Check your medicine cabinets! Pfizer Consumer Healthcare announced on Aug. 27 that it was recalling Children's Advil Suspension Bubble Gum bottles in four-fluid-ounce sizes due to unclear labeling and potential overdose concerns.

In a press release, Pfizer warned parents that "the use of the product with an unmatched dosage cup marked in teaspoons rather than milliliters has a chance of being associated with potential overdose. The most common symptoms associated with ibuprofen overdose include nausea, vomiting, headache, drowsiness, blurred vision, and dizziness."

The recalled medicine was sold in the US between May 2018 and June 2018 and has an expiration date of Nov. 20, 2020.
