Disneyland's Animatronic Ursula Lost Her Head but, Terrifyingly, Kept Singing

Karma's a b*tch: if you take a poor, innocent little mermaid's voice, don't be surprised when you lose your head.

That's what happened this week at Disneyland during the Ariel's Undersea Adventure ride, which takes park visitors through different scenes from the hit movie.

When fans made their way to the animatronic Ursula, the ride took a bizarre, frightening turn: the villain's head fell off of her robotic body — and just dangled there. Not only that, but the mouth continued to move as she sang, proving once and for all that the show really must go on.

This happened today which caught me off guard because Disney is usually so critical over things like this😂 #offwithherhead ! pic.twitter.com/biGGYG6ec2

What's even weirder than one beheaded Disney character? Well, that'd be two beheaded Disney characters. On the same day as the snafu on the Little Mermaid ride, the auctioneer in the popular Pirates of the Caribbean ride lost his head as well:
