Attention, Breakfast-Lovers! IHOP’s Free Pancake Day Is Today!

Attention, friends: IHOP's annual Free Pancake Day is today, and we are so ready to take our families for a delicious breakfast for dinner. IHOP Free Pancake Day: Flip It Forward For Kids, will take place today, March 12 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at your local restaurant, and not only will you be able to indulge in a free short stack of fluffy buttermilk pancakes during that time, but you can help IHOP reach its fundraising goal of $4 million.

On Free Pancake Day, IHOP will be raising money for its charity partners, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Shriners Hospitals For Children. Every dollar raised on this day will be donated locally, too.

Another great place to put your money from now to April 14? Into the hands of your IHOP waiter in exchange for a stack of "OREO Oh My Goodness" pancakes, which were created by 6-year-old Brody, winner of the chain's first-ever Kid Chef competition last year. The competition invited kids ages 6-16 treated at a Children's Miracle Network Hospital to "dream up their best pancake creation." For Brody, who was born with a rare abdominal wall defect and had a feeding tube for the first few years of his life, Oreos were a special choice, as the chocolate cookies were the first solid food he was ever given to eat.
