The Way Kaley Cuoco Addressed False Pregnancy Rumors Deserves Booming Applause

No, Kaley Cuoco has not announced that she's pregnant, but she has some choice words for anyone suggesting she might be. On Wednesday, Dec. 19, the Big Bang Theory actress shared a photo of herself and her husband Karl Cook — whom she married in June — sharing a smooch. In the snap, Kaley and Karl are both leaning in, and the material of Kaley's maxi dress is draping down to the ground from where she's bent at the waist. Because of her position and the way her dress dared appear loose around her midsection, commenters on the photo for some reason felt compelled to ask, "When's the baby due??" and, "Are you hiding a baby bump?!?!"

With these comments and so many others piling up on what was simply meant to be a cute photo of the newlyweds, Kaley decided to use her Instagram stories to address the speculation. Over a screen grab of a couple of the rude comments, Kaley wrote: "I"m so sorry I bent over in a way to where my dress billowed in the wind and made you think this. Question. Would you walk up to me and ask this straight to my face?"

Spoiler alert: no matter what you *think* your answer to that question is, the correct response is, "No, never in a million years because that is, of course, extremely rude."

So to recap: it is, 100 percent of the time, not OK to decide from one photo of a woman in a maxi dress that she must be pregnant. And it's definitely not OK to ask for clarification. Because even if she was pregnant, until she shares that news with the world, it's none of your damn business.
