Marshalls Online Store Details 2019

Say Goodbye to Long Lines — Marshalls Is Launching an Online Store

MIAMI, FL - FEBRUARY 08: A Marshalls store is seen on February 8, 2017 in Miami, Florida. Marshalls and T.J. Maxx stores have reportedly been told by the retailers' parent company, The TJX Campanies, that they should not feature Ivanka Trump's merchandise and to discard signs advertising those products. Marshalls has some exciting news that might spell some serious trouble for your online shopping problem. The discount retailer is (finally) following in TJ Maxx's footsteps and launching an online store, which means that bargain shopping is about to get a whole lot easier.

According to People, TJX Companies CEO Ernie Herrman mentioned in a conference call on March 6 that Marshalls will be dipping its toes in the e-commerce pool and launching the store later this year. An exact launch date has yet to be specified, but it looks like the company is aiming to have it all out there by the latter half of 2019.

As convenient as online shopping can be, the company still has plans to make sure its digital ventures won't have a negative impact on sales in its brick-and-mortar locations. Herrman explained that Marshalls will differentiate its online offerings with its in-store items in the same way that its sister store TJ Maxx did when it went digital in 2013. "We really believe it drives incremental store traffic given large percentage of returns online is in stores," Herrman said, comparing the two brands. "It is going to encourage cross-shopping. That has worked really well for us."

It might be a minute until we get further details on an official launch date, but until that day comes, you can find us still taking advantage of ALL of the deals in-store.
