Redefining "Family": This Same-Sex Couple's Adoption Story Is So Inspiring
As part of a same-sex couple looking to adopt, POPSUGAR's VP of Business Development, Joe LaFalce, was understandably nervous. The endless forms, interviews, and probing questions on his (and his partner's, also Joe) future parenting and discipline styles were difficult to navigate.
When the Joes first met Margot, however, those hardships gave way to an intense desire to be "parent, protector, and fierce Papa Bear." Now they both parent this precocious 2-year-old, so grateful for the process that brought this intensely happy family together.
