A toddler who was discovered allegedly beaten and not breathing in her Ohio home has died.

After authorities found 2-year-old Kinsley fighting for her life, the toddler was rushed to Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, OH. According to the criminal complaint, medical staff observed bruising under her chin near her throat along with multiple bruises around her head. The child's mother, Rebecca Ashton Kinner, 23, and her boyfriend, Bradley Young, have been arrested and are being held on the charge of permitting child abuse.

"Medical staff advised [the girl] had no brain activity and was on a ventilator," the complaint said. "Rebecca Kinner stated that she watched her boyfriend [Brad Young] shook and punched her 2-year-old daughter in the head multiple times the day before she stopped breathing. Rebecca made no attempt to come to her defense."

While the little girl was fighting for her life, thousands of wishes poured in through the trending hashtag #PrayForKinsley and her father, Scott Senft, posted a heartfelt tribute after her passing.

"Play all you want in heaven baby, daddy will be there soon, we will play everyday, love each other like we do now, and show the world it's still me and you till the end, I love you baby so much!!!! RIP my beautiful angel, I promise I will make them pay for this... At only 2 you have made me a new man, changed my life and made yourself a part of me I love you baby."
