Sad Christmas Video About Losing Your Mom

This Heartbreaking Video Shows What the Holidays Are Like Without You Mom, and We're Sobbing

Love is a Gift - Christmas Short Film

Off the back of the John Lewis Christmas advert I wanted to share my very own Christmas film which I made back in 2014. It's a short film about a man counting down the days to Christmas so he can continue his yearly tradition sparked by a tragic moment from the past. I hope you enjoy it 🙂 Starring Chris Ilston. Special thanks to Natalie Martins (Actress) for playing 'Mum'. #christmas #video #film #videographer

Phil Beastall, a 32-year-old videographer from the United Kingdom, knows that experiencing the holiday season without your loved ones can be heartbreaking. Recently, he shared a short film titled "Love Is a Gift" that he made back in 2014, and whether you've lost a parent or not, it's utterly gut-wrenching.

The emotional video starts ordinarily — with a 29-year-old man counting down the days till Christmas — but before long, you realize that while he's eager to spend Christmas with his mother, it's not in the way you'd expect. Although the clip is emotional, it's an important reminder that the holidays are about the people you spend them with rather than the things you receive.
