Did Sam and Nia Just Admit to Their Pregnancy and Miscarriage Being Staged?

In a recent vlog from Sam and Nia Rader — the couple who took over the Internet with a "reverse pregnancy announcement" and then, sadly, a miscarriage announcement three days later — Sam seems to admit that their entire ordeal was staged, but he doesn't say that the events were fake, which is what some of their haters believe.

In the vlog, Sam references several Bible passages that support the hatred from those who feel deceived by his family and says that the hate "excites him" because it's "just what comes with being a Christian and being a God-filled family."

He mentions being asked in an interview if the events were staged:

"A lot of people think it was staged. I'm like, you know what? It was staged. It was all orchestrated by God above and nothing less. I'll say stuff like that just to kind of throw them off, but it doesn't make me happy that people are deceived, but it does make me happy that God chose our family out of the world."

Though his sarcasm throughout the vlog may seem to fool some, Sam does state that their pregnancy and miscarriage "were not faked" — though he's giving new meaning to the word "staged." Not only that, he's asking the haters to keep on coming, rather than go away, because it's making him "personally a little bit more excited about God choosing [his family]." In fact, he's encouraging them: "Hit us with your best shot!"
