ATTENTION '90s BABIES: we have a very important Dunkaroos-related announcement, so put down the apples you're packing into your kids' lunchboxes and listen up!

No, the classic cookies and icing treat isn't coming back (whomp), but Walmart has created its own version of the beloved '90s snack, calling it Dunk 'N Crunch.

The Dunk 'N Crunch looks just like the sweet lunch treat of your elementary school years, just with a few changes (upgrades, if you will). Instead of fun-shaped graham cookies, Walmart's version features round shortbread cookies, which look decadent as hell in the photo posted to the JunkBanter Instagram. And even though the frosting looks the same as the vanilla-sprinkled Dunkaroos version of our pasts, the JunkBanter reviewer says it's a bit thicker (fine by me!).

"Dear Walmart, I know I could do this myself. I know that the Dunkaroos were in us all along. But thank you for putting it all in one package for me again so I don't have to," the reviewer wrote, adding, "I actually like your take on it with shortbread cookies. So again, thank you."

Even though Dunkaroos are the lunch item I personally look back on in wonder because they're certainly not your typical lunchbox snack (I must have been seriously convincing — or, more likely, impossibly annoying — for my mom to have conceded to me bringing cookies and frosting into school), I can't help but feel a surge of joy for the deprived kids of today who haven't been able to taste the no-longer-mainstream snack. And for myself, as I'll be visiting my local Walmart ASAP to get a nostalgic taste (or two) of my past.
