The days leading up to Mother's Day are bound to be filled with sentimental videos designed to bring on the waterworks, but one ad is leading the way thanks to its heartwarming message. Last week, Wells Fargo introduced its "Learning Sign Language" ad featuring a lesbian couple doing everything they can to learn how to sign — watching videos, reading books, etc. — before adopting a child with a hearing impairment. When they finally meet their grade-school daughter, they sign, "Hello, beautiful," and not only do their hearts melt, but ours did too.

The ad, which is the first banking ad to feature a same-sex couple, is part of Wells Fargo's new campaign, which is designed to reflect the diversity of the bank's customers, according to Jamie Moldafsky, chief marketing officer for Wells Fargo. "The notion of all of these ads is really telling stories to create a sense of togetherness," she said.

While the presence of a same-sex couple in the ad is groundbreaking, we're more torn up about the dedication of these moms to form their little family. Don't say we didn't warn you about the tears that will ensue!
