After Spending Over 2 Months in the NICU, This Preemie Finally Made It Home

Throughout pregnancy, it is a mother's only wish to have a healthy baby, but in some cases that wish isn't always granted. For Tabitha Jacobsen, her journey began during the first ultrasound when doctors noticed that her placenta was shaped irregularly. After becoming extremely exhausted and noticing her body swell, she was diagnosed with preeclampsia and admitted to the hospital. Her son Braden was born three days later weighing 1 pound, 2.3 ounces. Tabitha carried him for just over 27 weeks. She shared her story with a San Francisco news anchor:
