A Little Boy Mistook 2 Brides Marrying Each Other For Real-Life Princesses, and the Story Keeps Getting Better

It's been two years since Bea Watson married her now-wife, Emma Webster-Mockett, and although some memories from their wedding day may have faded, one remains crystal clear. To celebrate their anniversary, Bea shared photos on Twitter of the endearing moment a little boy saw the two brides . . . and thought they were real-life princesses.

The two women, both in white gowns, had been walking hand in hand through a park when the "wee boy," as Bea recalled, shouted to his mom: "Look at those princesses!"

The boy's mom explained, "He thinks you both look like princesses," before he interjected, "Did one of you get married?"

Emma replied: "We married each other!"

As shown in the photos, captured by wedding photographer Kirsty McLachlan, the boy was ecstatic. "Two princesses then?!"

The boy's mom gave a response that, to this day, both Bea and Emma appreciate: "Yes, two princesses can marry each other!"

According to Bea, it was as if the boy's mind was blown — his response was a mix of stunned awe, and it made for one of the sweetest encounters of their already-special wedding day.
