After Suffering a Miscarriage, 1 Reality Star Got Real in an Emotional Hospital Room Video
After suffering a miscarriage, rapper-turned-reality star Remy Ma is opening up about the emotional roller coaster of her pregnancy with a heartbreaking video from her hospital bed. The 36-year-old Love & Hip Hop star recently took to Instagram to share her story and let other moms know they are not alone.
"I bought a pregnancy journal, I started filling it out," she said in the video, shaking her head. "I never for one second thought that it would end like this with me in the hospital, with stitches in my stomach, and no baby. I figured out the due date, I was thinking of names, planning a nursery."
Although some may be wondering why she would choose to expose herself during such an emotional time in the hospital, Remy explained that her husband, fellow rapper Papoose, encouraged her to share her story for the other women who have experienced the same pain.
"[He] made me realize how many women like myself experience the same thing and don't have a partner by their side to say it will be alright," she wrote. "So I'm here to tell anyone going through a similar situation that it is not over."
Miscarriage is a topic that celebrities and reality stars don't often talk about, but Remy is spreading her message that just because you've suffered a miscarriage, doesn't mean that you have to give up on your dreams of starting a family.
