Unfortunately for Mickey-lovers, it's been getting more and more expensive to visit everyone's favorite mouse at Disney Parks. However, Sam's Club wants to bring you the magic of Disney at a discount — up to $70 per ticket compared to gate prices, to be exact! The wholesale retailer announced that it's offering a variety of special deals on travel and entertainment, which include Walt Disney World and Disneyland Park tickets that start at just $42 . . . but there is a slight catch.

How Much Are Disney Tickets Usually?

Right now, Disneyland is offering special prices until May 18, 2019, but normally Disney ticket prices vary depending on date. They start at around $104 at either location for a one one-day, single-park ticket for guests ages 10 and up (the price goes down the more days you visit the parks; for example, a four-day visit will run you about $95 per ticket per day). Currently, the lowest-price tickets are for visits in May, August, and September 2019.

The lowest Disney tickets start at $45 on its site, which is a per-day, per-ticket price for a 10-day trip — Sam's Club's price for the same ticket is $42, so really, it's only a slight amount of savings on that particular deal, but let's explore the more realistic two- to five-day vacation prices.

How Much Will Disney Park Tickets Be at Sam's Club?

Here's a breakdown of the Sam's Club deals at both Disney parks:

    • Sam's Club: prices start at $42 per ticket per day for a 10-day ticket*
    • *A more realistic four-day ticket will run you around $89 per ticket per day at Sam's Club, compared to $95 per ticket per day on the Disney site.

  2. 4-Park Magic tickets, which allow you to enter each park once for a total of four admissions:
    • Disney ticket site: prices start at $89 per day for four-day Magic Select tickets and $95 per day for four-day Magic Summer tickets
    • Sam's Club: prices start at $87 per day for those ages 10 and up
  3. For Florida residents only: bundled 3-Day Discover Disney tickets:

    • Sam's Club: prices for these tickets start at $66 per day for a 3-Day Discover Disney ticket and $54 per day for a 4-Day Discover Disney ticket
    • *For the time being, the Disney ticket site prices are cheaper options for Florida residents.

Disneyland Offers:

  1. Single-park tickets for guests age three and up (with or without Park Hopper and all including one Magic Morning, aka early admission) for both Disneyland Park and California Adventure:
    • Disney ticket site: for a five-day, single-park package with no Park Hopper, prices start at $68 per day for ages 10+ and $64 per day for ages 3-9
    • Sam's Club: the same five-day, single-park package with no Park Hopper starts at $44 per ticket per day for guests ages 3 and up
  2. Two-, three-, four-, and five-day multiday tickets with one Magic Morning:
    • Disney ticket site: a four-day multiday ticket costs $81 per day for ages 10+ and $76 per day for ages 3-9
    • Sam's Club: a four-day multiday ticket costs $76 per day for guests ages 10+ or $71 per day for guests ages 3-9 (and each package comes with a $25 gift card to Restaurant.com)
  3. For Southern California and Northern Baja residents only: three-day, single-park tickets for those ages 3 and up:
    • Disney ticket site: prices start at $60 per day
    • Sam's Club: tickets start at $53 per day and, unlike the Disney site tickets, include one Magic Morning

When it comes to Disney pricing in general, pricing tends to go down the longer you stay and depends on the time of year you're planning your trip, so our best advice is to open up the applicable Sam's Club ticket and Disney ticket pages simultaneously to compare pricing for your particular trip.
