Christian Louboutin Will Change the Way You Think About Nude Shoes
Whether it's for lingerie or shoes, the term "nude" is a pretty vague description. Often, a single shade is intended to represent all women, while it's clear that we come in a diverse range of skin tones. But things are finally beginning to change.
The latest example: luxury shoe designer Christian Louboutin announced in April that it was launching an extended nude collection, with five shades that range from fair blush to rich chestnut. Now, the brand is going a step further with two more styles (the Deepik and Dorissima) and additional colors arriving in August.
If you've been saving up for a pair of the designer heels, follow Monsieur Louboutin's advice and "bare all and go nude." Because while the brand's iconic red soles will remain, the body of each stiletto will look decidedly different. Read on for a sneak peek at the new styles, plus the full range of nude shoes already available to shop.
