When we found out that Mary-Kate and Ashley designed a wedding gown for their longtime friend Molly Fishkin, we sort of freaked out. Would this parlay into a bridal line for The Row? And, if so, could we one day walk down the aisle in a dress as elegant as Fishkin's lace, bohemian number?
But, upon seeing the full account of the European-inspired Summer celebration — from the gorgeous ceremony to the intimate reception where Stevie Nicks performed Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" — we began to see everything in a new, softer light.
Mary-Kate and Ashley's bell-sleeve design, complete with a scalloped hem, was a heartfelt gift to Molly. It fit in perfectly with the theme of her special day and was, more than anything, a token of friendship. And there's no doubt it was worn well, matched with Manolo Blahnik slides, minimal jewelry, and a matching veil that swept the floor.
One thing's for sure — the entire wedding, which took place at Paramour Mansion in LA, definitely welcomed guests to "kick off their shoes and run through the grass if they wanted to." And that was exactly what the couple desired. Scroll down to digest the romantic photos, shot by Heather Kincaid, and just try not to get lost in the day's blissful feeling.
