Ralph Lauren's New Collection Is Entirely Neutral but Full of Flavor

This Fashion Week, Ralph Lauren lined his Madison Avenue flagship store with white chairs, 10,000 orchids acting as the backdrop. Make no mistake, he was debuting his February collection, shoppable now, as Ralph has officially joined the see now, buy now club.

While the Americana designer stuck to a theme, creating pieces for women with a "nomadic spirit," his neutral palette (an homage to the desert) felt right in line with a lot of the Fall runways, which embrace the same color scheme. Ralph invited his customers to the brand's Facebook page, where they could see the clothes in action and then immediately purchase them online. Needless to say, there was a lot to be excited for. Because, you see, even though the looks were without vibrant color, save for a few pops of purple and green, they were still flavorful.

Animal-print accessories were the staples — like the shopper Kendall Jenner toted down the runway and her matching shoes — but sequined dresses and floral-printed cape gowns were plenty glamorous. Even Bella Hadid's loose silk poncho was evening-chic when paired with open-toed sandals and chunky gold jewelry. These artful earrings, pendants, and even the belts that provided a casual touch to silk silhouettes were a reminder that American girls should always keep their free spirits intact.

Ahead, soak up all the elegance before you shop Ralph Lauren's new essentials.
