Converse's newest collaboration with Joe FreshGoods will take you back to the '70s. The disco-themed collection is a major throwback to a time when roller rinks reigned supreme, and it's inspired by Chicago in 1976. Joe Robinson, founder and designer of the streetwear brand Joe FreshGoods, actually grew up on Chicago's West Side and wanted to incorporate the atmosphere's essence into the collection. "I wanted to approach the collection like a reader scrolling through a book about love, Black culture, soul and art. Each piece is a history lesson," Robinson said in a press release.

The $120 Converse x Joe FreshGoods Chuck 70s feature a multicolored mixed-graphic-print upper with a tie-dye print tongue. They even have a T-shirt inspired hang tag! As for the Pro Leather sneakers, which cost $110, they feature a black floral embroidered upper in a mix of suede and velvet, with corduroy patches on each heel. There's also a patent-leather Star Chevron logo and touches of glitter on the outsole.

Converse x Joe FreshGoods will be available worldwide starting Thursday, Dec. 17, at Converse.com and select global retailers. The collection starts at $50 for the tie-dye T-shirt, and goes up to $120 for the see-through duffle bag and the Pro Leather sneakers. Read on to see the full collection and campaign images ahead.
