Is Next-to-Naked the New Normal?

When the stars stepped out in nearly naked looks at the 2015 Met Gala, sure, we were a little surprised, but not completely shocked. After all, supersexy see-through ensembles have been happening for years now, from Cher's original Bob Mackie feathered gown to that famous jumpsuit Britney Spears wore in her "Toxic" video. Even typical good girl Taylor Swift decided to get in on the fun, rocking a revealing one-piece on her 1989 tour just as Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Kim Kardashian were walking the Met Gala stairs. Scroll through to see all the famous faces who dared to bare in both recent history and years past. Seems that we can expect to see a lot less dress and a lot more body on the red carpet, begging the question: is next-to-naked the new normal?
