Sofía Vergara Goes Topless in a Teeny-Tiny Thongkini

Sofía Vergara's swimsuit wardrobe has made its summer debut. On June 25, just days into the season, Vergara took advantage of the sunny weather and shared a photo of herself lounging by the pool in a teeny-tiny thongkini. "Lo mio es el verano!" she wrote in the caption, which translates to "summer is my thing."

In true summer fashion, Vergara seemingly chose to work on her tan topless, sprawling out across a lounge chair in only a pair of bikini bottoms. A strip of colorful fabric, however, poked out from beneath her midriff, boasting vibrant shades of blue, purple, and pink. Later on her Instagram Story, the actor posted a photo of her full bikini top: a multicolored bandana tied in a knot across her chest. The makeshift bandana top beautifully contrasted her monochrome bottoms. She completed the outfit with a delicate necklace and no shoes. Paired with her sun-kissed highlights and the palm trees in the background, Vergara's photo almost created the illusion of being on a tropical summer vacation.

This appears to be the first time Vergara has dipped her toes into the viral thongkini trend this season, but we've spotted multiple celebrities putting the barely there bathing suit to the test. Most recently, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and Heidi Klum stepped out in thong bikinis, taking a variety of dazzling approaches to styling the pieces. Sydney Sweeney even released an entire Frankies Bikinis collection complete with the strappy design as part of the lineup.
