Taylor Swift's Latest Look Isn't Very Taylor Swift

We already knew Taylor Swift's style was changing — it's only gotten sexier since she started dating Calvin Harris — but nothing could have prepared us for her latest look. Meeting up with pal Selena Gomez, the star was spotted rocking one of the edgiest outfits we've ever seen her in: a graphic tee that said "This is my fight song," a pair of cutoff shorts, some booties, and, oh yeah — a harness belt.

The accessory isn't exactly new. We see it pop up on the runway every now and then, and mass-market stores like Urban Outfitters and Forever 21 have sold them. But on Taylor, who usually wears matching sets and retro-inspired pieces, it just seems a bit out of character. What do you think? Taylor Swift was spotted out and about in LA wearing a casual outfit, which she amped up with a harness belt.

This was no doubt an edgy look for typically feminine Taylor. Even her t-shirt was tough, saying "This is my fight song."

Later, it was revealed that Taylor was actually wearing her harness backwards. She responded to comments on Tumblr saying "I think you’re ignoring a really important point here. . . That my harness and I are always ready for a zip line/rock climbing."

Taylor's close friend Selena Gomez also kept it casual, wearing tight white pants, a front-tie shirt, and some slip-on sneakers.
