Jessie J's 2 Favorite Healthy Snacks Are Already in Your Fridge

As part of Propel Electrolyte Water's new initiative encouraging people to get into the gym and get ugly, the brand tapped UK singer Jessie J to help spread the message. "The word ugly has become really negative, and I wanted to put a positive spin on it," Jessie J said of the chant she created for the commercial. "Get sweaty, get your hair messy, let your eyebrows come off."

As someone who loves fitness and understands its importance, the singer, known for such hits as "Price Tag" and "Domino," said she was excited to get to be a part of this campaign. "I wanted to inspire people to stop giving a sh*t about what you look like and start from the inside out," she told me. "Fitness is your own journey."

Besides discussing her inspirational chant and Propel's "Let's Get Ugly" campaign, I chatted with Jessie J about everything from how she likes to work out to what her favorite go-to healthy snacks are. Keep reading to get all her answers.

On what music she likes to work out to: "Anything with a heavy beat. Something that makes me feel sexy, because I just think, 'I want to look good naked, I want to look good naked.' That's one of my things: I want to look better naked, I want to feel good about myself."

On what her go-to healthy snacks are: "You know what's really good is when you roast strawberries and they get like crisps and they're chewy. And then frozen grapes are like little baby sorbets. I love vegetables; I love fruit. I'm not an avocado fan, but I'm trying to teach myself."

On what she tells herself to stay positive: "If it's not OK, it's not the end. No feeling stays forever. Heartbreak, pain, grief, stress — it never stays forever unless you let it."
