Jogger Called "Mad Pooper" Pooping in Public

A Woman Dubbed "Mad Pooper" Has Been Defecating in a Public Park on Her Runs

Many runners have anxiety about being able to poop before a race, but this female jogger from Colorado Springs, CO, clearly doesn't give a sh*t about taking a sh*t . . . in public.

She's been named the "mad pooper" by the family who's seen her repeatedly defecate on their lawn. Cathy Budde said it was her children who first saw the woman pooping in front of their house. Cathy told KKTV, "They are like, 'There's a lady taking a poop!' So I come outside, and I'm like ... 'are you serious? Are you really taking a poop right here in front of my kids!?' She's like, 'Yeah, sorry!'"

Cathy said this has been a weekly occurrence for the past seven weeks — she leaves behind human waste at least once a week, and they've caught her in the act twice. The worst part for the family is figuring out why she keeps doing this. It's clearly on purpose because the runner carries napkins in her pocket for wiping. There are public restrooms available in the area, so why is the runner choosing to use the Buddes' "walkway as her toilet"?

Cathy posted a sign on a nearby wall that says "please, I'm begging you, please stop." But she said, "She ran by it like 15 times yesterday, and she still pooped."

She's not the only one who's complained about this jogger popping a squat and relieving herself for all to see. After posting a sign pleading with the woman to stop, other neighbors have come forward saying they've also seen the "mad pooper" in action, outside of a Walgreens and in their backyards.

Now the Colorado Springs police are investigating this mystery woman. Sgt. Johnathan Sharketti told KKTV, "It's abnormal, it's not something I've seen in my career. For someone to repeatedly do such a thing . . . it's uncharted territory for me." Police have asked Cathy to take photos to help identify the runner — she could be charged with indecent exposure and public defecation.
