This Olympian's Star Wars Routine Will Make You Say "That's One Hell of a Figure Skater!"

Most people see the Olympics as a chance to support athletes from their home country in their collective endeavor to become the world's greatest — but you'll be tempted to switch things up and root for Chinese figure skater Jin Boyang after watching this! The 20-year-old, who will be competing for the first time in the 2018 Winter Olympics at PyeongChang, gave a preview of the long program he'll be skating in South Korea at the 2017 Skate America competition . . . and the music will sound familiar to any Star Wars fan.

Boyang has already earned a reputation for other geeky performances, notably Spider-Man figure skating routines, but his Star Wars routine is truly something else! Dancing to memorable songs from the franchise's score such as the Cantina band song from Star Wars: A New Hope, Boyang showed plenty of the breathtaking skill that earned him a place on China's Olympic team, even while skating on two sprained ankles. As we're sure Finn would say: "That's one hell of a skater!"

Give the full routine a watch above, and follow along with the rest of our Olympics coverage to see more stellar performances! We can't wait to see if anybody else busts out their own geeky surprise on the ice.
