My workout routine just got a whole lot more exciting thanks to fitness YouTuber Maddie Lymburner. Her latest video is a 12-minute music warmup set to superchill yet catchy pop songs. And as a diehard Kacey Musgraves and Harry Styles fan, I feel like it was made personally for me.
The dance-inspired warmup features the songs "Slow Burn" by Musgraves, "Objects in the Mirror" by Mac Miller, and "Golden" by Harry Styles. In the caption, Lymburner suggests using it to warm up before a workout or even as a short morning workout itself.
The slow-tempo Musgraves song is the soundtrack for the stretching part of the warmup. "The first song focuses on waking the body up with slow movements and has more of a stretch focus," Lymburner wrote. For the second part, set to "Objects in the Mirror," Lymburner demonstrates ankle rolls, planks, and pliés to warm up her ankles, hips, and arms. She ends on a more energetic note with the Styles song to get her heart rate up.
You can check out the video for yourself, but be warned — you'll be tapping your toes to the beat of "Golden" for the rest of the day.
