We Tried the Entire Dunkin' Donuts Brownie-Themed Menu, and Here's What Happened

Words cannot describe the stampede that my email about another Dunkin' Donuts taste test set off in the POPSUGAR office. After the popularity of the Dunkin' Donuts holiday flavors a few months back, expectations were high. With enthusiastic chatter about the surprise treats, my co-workers proceeded to try Dunkin's new Valentine's Day menu, which happens to be entirely brownie themed. It includes Fudge Brownie Swirl Coffee, Chocolate-Covered Raspberry Heart Donuts, Brownie Batter Crumble Heart Donuts, and Fudge Croissant Donuts. Read on to find out which snacks you should indulge in on your next coffee run.

Fudge Brownie Swirl Coffee

The majority of our taste testers really seemed to enjoy this coffee. Here's what they had to say about the new flavor:

  • "It's a coffee-hot chocolate hybrid."
  • "You don't have to add anything to it."
  • "Delicious!"

Average rating: ★★★★☆

Although in our last taste test the Croissant Donut was very popular, the fudge edition was a polarizing treat.

  • "Really good. The inside tasted like chocolate syrup.
  • "Too sweet."
  • "Too much fudge."
  • "OMG. Yes."

Average rating: ★★★☆

Brownie Batter Crumble Heart Donut

These heart-shaped sweets were incredibly popular with chocolate-lovers but not as much with the general population of testers.

  • "Is this an Oreo?"
  • "Too much stuff going on."
  • "Tastes like REAL brownie batter. Yum!"

Average rating: ★★★☆

Chocolate-Covered Raspberry Heart Donut

Like the other doughnuts, those with a sweet tooth really enjoyed this iced, jelly-filled doughnut.

  • "Tastes like toaster strudel."
  • "The chocolate and raspberry flavors feel too separate."
  • "I loved the filling."
