Sonic Drive-In is responsible for a few of our favorite treat concoctions, but its Red Bull Summer Edition Watermelon Slush might be the most energizing yet. The food chain recently debuted the new flavor (and brought back the fan-favorite Red Bull Slush) just in time for summer, and patrons are already slurping away.

Although the thought of mixing an energy drink with sugar sends my heart racing, I must admit watermelon is my weakness during this season. According to one customer, Sonic and Red Bull "really hit it out the park" with this one, and I'll take their word for it. If this drink combo sounds right up your alley, make sure you order from Sonic sometime soon, because this slushy is only available through Aug. 30.
