You Can Now Douse Your Disneyland Pineapple Whip in Bacon Bits, and I'm Fully Salivating

When Belinda Carlisle sang that "heaven is a place on earth," I'm 99 percent sure she was preemptively referring to The Tropical Hideaway restaurant at Disneyland. The fast-casual, tiki-themed eatery, which opened its doors at the end of 2018, is the only place that offers a new salty-sweet treat park-goers can't get enough of: bacon-topped raspberry-pineapple whip. Yes, you read that correctly — bacon on top of a swirled raspberry-pineapple soft serve. *Wipes away drool from chin*

This dessert is technically a secret menu item, as you must ask the the Tropical Hideaway cashier to "spice up" your order of soft serve to indicate that you want candied bacon crumbles sprinkled on top, which costs just $1 extra. Pro tip: apparently if you ask for the bacon on the side, they give you a lot more of the smoky bits than when the employees pour 'em on themselves. Needless to say, this concoction has officially catapulted to the tippy-top of our edible Disneyland bucket list.
