Caitlyn Jenner Designs Her First Home — and It's Gorgeous!

Caitlyn Jenner is a longtime resident of Los Angeles, but the home she purchased in Malibu, CA, is the first place in decades to be her very own. The space took on special significance considering how monumental the last year has been for Caitlyn. So it stands to reason that decorating the house was a big — and emotional — job. Designer Lori Margolis was enlisted to take over the job, and the results are on display in the new issue of Architectural Digest.

Lori spoke about the importance of the Malibu home, as it's Caitlyn's first since splitting from wife Kris Jenner. "Caitlyn always lived in beautiful houses, but designing them was Kris Jenner's domain — Caitlyn wasn't really involved. This time, she really wanted to put her personal stamp on the house," Lori said.

Together, the women created a home full of neutrals that allow the natural beauty of the ocean and coastline, visible beyond the home's many glass doors and windows, to shine. Statement pieces abound, with colorful throw pillows and patterned rugs. The living room, in particular, is a cohesive, serene space centered on one very special piece of furniture. The sofa, from Homenature, was custom built to fit both Jenner's 6'2" stature as well as many members of her extended family.
