This Mom Built Her Son the Most Epic Bed Ever

When I was a kid, my parents scored points by being the fun parents who indulged me with a bunk bed for accommodating sleepovers. Nowadays, platforms like Pinterest are putting a spotlight on DIY-loving creatives who seem to be taking everything to the next level . . . including cool beds for kids' rooms. Case in point: Jen Woodhouse from The House of Wood. She and fellow blogger Ana White tag-teamed to create this epic cabin bed.

It evokes the fantasy of a playhouse with the practicality of a bed — your child must sleep somewhere, after all. Why not combine the two?
