You'll Want to Move to Chicago When You See Giuliana and Bill's New Brownstone

Giuliana and Bill Rancic are famous for their dedication to his hometown, Chicago. They've long been part-time residents, and a great deal of the action on their reality show Giuliana and Bill took place there. Bill has owned numerous properties in and around the city and is also the founder of two thriving Windy City restaurants.

The Rancics, along with son Duke, are considering what's next now that Giuliana's 14-year run on E! News wrapped up this week — and that may include a long-promised full-time move to Chicago. The Rancics, who also own a home in Los Angeles, have planted major roots in Chicago with the purchase of a townhouse in the Gold Coast neighborhood.

To renovate their Chicago property, the Rancics brought in their longtime collaborator, decorator Lonni Paul. Lonni, who also outfitted the Rancics' Los Angeles home, knew to run with the blue color palette both Giuliana and Bill adore. The hue pops up in the living and dining rooms, and even in the bathroom. Statement lighting and striking pieces of art abound throughout the space.

Giuliana, Bill, and Lonni are showing off the results of their hard work in the September issue of Traditional Home. The Rancics are thrilled with the house. "We've always had one foot here, and now we have two," Bill told the magazine. "Finally, we're home."

Bill and Giuliana Rancic's Chicago living room employs the color blue, their favorite, as well as a large piece of statement art. The chandelier, also a focal point, is from Circa. The rug is from Stark.

Blue is once again prominent in the dining room thanks to the printed wallpaper and chairs. A piece of bunny art by Hunt Slonem hangs on the wall. The chandelier is from Windfall.

Giuliana and Bill have a two-story bathroom and dressing room. The spaces are unified by teal Bernhardt chairs on the upper floor and matching Walker Zanger tiles below.

The kitchen opens up to the Rancics' deck area, which features a fireplace perfect for chilly Chicago nights. There are also heat lamps installed above the deck.
