West Elm Is Opening a Hotel Chain — and It's Even More Stylish Than You're Imagining

Browsing through a West Elm store is like walking through our ideal home. It's so welcoming and stylish that we fantasize about peeling back the layers of accent pillows and cozy throws on one of their perfectly coiffed beds and spending the night. And now we can in real life!

The home retailer known for furniture and decor that's on-trend without being over budget just announced that they're partnering with hospitality management team DDK to open a chain of West Elm Hotels. The hotels aim to provide boutique level hospitality in a thoroughly modern environment while highlighting local design elements. Their first properties are slated to open late 2018 in Charlotte, NC; Indianapolis, IN; Detroit, MI; Savannah, GA; and Nashville, TN.

While guests can rely on the stylish West Elm aesthetic they already know and love in the hotels, they'll also find each location decked out with mix of locally sourced artwork, cuisine, and cultural elements selected to make guests feel immersed in the community. And if you find that after staying in a West Elm Hotel, you must have that perfect reading lamp or plush bathmat when you get home, you can always purchase it from the store!
