This 1 Harry Potter DIY Will Up the Magic Factor of Your Entire Home

Calling all Harry Potter fans! Here's a quick DIY project that is sure to cast a spell on your home decor. Place it on your bookcase or end table to add a bit of magic to your living space. The hardest thing about this project is deciding which plant to display in it.

Supplies Needed:

Supplies Needed:

• Terracotta flower pot
• Two paintbrushes (one thick one for the broad strokes, and a thinner one for the details)
• Craft paint: burgundy, yellow, black, and white
• 1.5-inch round templates

Paint your flower pot white. Let dry.

Draw circles onto the pot with black paint. Attach the circles with a little line to make it look like glasses. (I used 1.5-inch circle punch-outs as a template, but you can also use the top of a milk jug or anything you have that is a circle shape.)

Paint hair on the top of the flower pot with black paint. Let dry.

Paint a lightning bolt on Harry's forehead with yellow paint. Let dry.

Paint yellow stripes (for the scarf) on the bottom of the flower pot. Let dry.

Finish the scarf design by adding burgundy stripes to the bottom of the flower pot. Let dry.
