Demi Lovato's Heartfelt Message About Her Late Great-Grandfather Will Bring You to Tears

It's an emotional time for Demi Lovato. Her 88-year-old great-grandfather, whom she called Papa, has passed away. The singer took to Instagram to share the news with her fans and post a sweet and heartbreaking message next to a photo of her grandpa and late dog Buddy, saying:

"My two favorite Buddy's are now playing in Heaven. My heart is absolutely broken and I can't even begin to imagine a world without my Papa but I know one day we'll meet again and that's what keeps me going. I hate writing this . . . But RIP Papa . . . I miss you so much already. I love you. Please keep my Mimaw in your prayers."

In early August, Demi posted an inspirational picture of her Mimaw and Papa together, holding hands over their beds with the caption: "Married over 50 years and he STILL looks at her this way." Keep reading to see the two sweet messages.

How precious is this??? Mimaw (my 93 year old great-grandmother and Papa (my 88 year old great-grandfather) holding hands and still so in love.. It's so beautiful... Married over 50 years and he STILL looks at her this way.... I love them so much...
