Gina Rodriguez is officially canvassing for an Emmy nomination for her role in Jane the Virgin. In the campaign images, for the outstanding lead actress in a comedy and outstanding comedy series categories, the Puerto Rican actress is surrounded by her own inspirational words, as opposed to critics's reviews, featured in most promotional images. The poster uses Gina's famous quotes like "I can and I will" and "This role is so much more than myself" to promote the show and the impact she's had with her performance. Gina, who recently said there's nothing she wouldn't do for a laugh, took to Instagram to share the image, created by CBS Television Studios, saying:
