Well, that was interesting. Jane the Virgin's Gina Rodriguez acted as an unofficial sex expert on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Nov. 14, but things took an awkward turn as she asked actress and singer Idina Menzel about her first time.

After discussing how her character on The CW hit show lost her virginity in a very real way — "we told the truth, losing your virginity is not fun," she said — Gina said she's often approached by strangers asking for sex advice and opening up about their experiences. She then took the opportunity to ask James about his first time, but since his parents where in the audience she moved on to asking fellow guest Idina about hers. "I did it on my parents bed when they went away for the weekend," Idina answered, and Gina needed a sip of water and a minute before being able to respond.
