It's Official: "La Macarena" Is Back! Watch Los del Río and Gente de Zona Performing at Premios Juventud

We bet you thought "La Macarena" stayed in the '90s only to occasionally come back at wedding receptions and parties with your family, but now that there's a new version out, you might be hearing the catchy tune and lyrics of "dale a tu cuerpo alegría, Macarena" on the radio again. Yes, you read that right. Gente de Zona has remixed the song along with the original singers, Los del Río, debuting the new version called "Más Macarena" on the stage of the 2016 Premios Juventud in Miami on July 14 and immediately releasing the song for purchase.

For those of you thinking, "Oh, no!," we urge you to give the hit a chance. It has all the best parts of the original (the tune, the dance, the crazy lyrics about a girl cheating on her boyfriend with two men!), plus a bit of an urban feel. Watch and listen above.
