Mexican superstar Thalia took the 2017 Premio Lo Nuestro by storm. Not only did she win an award for pop/rock female artist of the year, but she also performed her hit "Todavía Te Quiero" with De La Ghetto for the first time and, of course, sparkled on the red carpet as excited fans chanted her name from the sidelines.

Because we knew the beauty look she picked to go with her gown would be beautiful, we got her makeup artist Claudia Betancur, L'Oréal Paris's brand ambassador, to share an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Thalia's getting-ready routine before the show. The photos ahead, candidly snapped by Claudia, give a glimpse at how relaxed she is even before hitting one of the most important stages in Latin music! Keep reading to see them and find how to copy her look.

The Eye Look

Claudia used coffee-shade matte eye shadows, from L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude ($20), to create a warm smoky eye. She applied a combination of shades all over the lid and along the bottom lash line, adding a touch of a light sparkly shade in the inner corners.

The Contour

Thalia's skin was simply radiant, and it was all due to (what else?) contouring. Claudia used the L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Contour Kit in Medium ($13) and applied the color to Thalia's jaw line and hairline and underneath her cheekbones.

Then, she made her cheeks pop even more with a dusting of peach blush. The finishing touch, and what made Thalia sparkle under the lights on the red carpet, was a swirl of L'Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminator in Golden ($13) all over.
