After being diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia, this brave 21-year-old woman decided not to let cancer get the best of her. In a sweet one-minute video uploaded on YouTube, Paige announces her recent diagnosis to her family by declaring "chronic leukemia will not define me."

Paige then proceeds to put on a pair of high heels and lipstick while sporting a hospital gown and dances like no one's watching to a remixed version of Destiny's Child's "Survivor" and MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This." Although there is no cure for her strain of leukemia, Paige remains hopeful that she will beat cancer with lifelong chemotherapy treatment.

Paige's older sister says she expects Paige to live a fulfilling life even with her cancer diagnosis, writing, "Not only will she graduate from the University of Dayton in the Spring, but after being accepted to [four out of four] medical schools she interviewed with these last few months, she has chosen to attend the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in the Fall of 2017."
