Elegant Black, White, and Gold Wedding
These College Sweethearts Tied the Knot in a Gorgeous Museum Where Their Love Was on Display

Amaya met Theo on her first day of college — she was at freshman orientation, and Theo just so happened to be her orientation leader. They didn't start dating until her junior year, though, and they have been inseparable since. Theo proposed to her on Christmas Day surrounded by their family.
They tied the knot in December 2018 in a daytime ceremony at an elegant museum with gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows that perfectly illuminated their wedding. While there was no specific theme, they wanted their wedding to feel like a breath of fresh air, so they opted for a classic color scheme of black, white, and gold, which made the room feel spacious and inviting.
"My favorite part of the wedding was the ceremony," Amaya said. "The aesthetics from the lighting and positioning of the room during the ceremony truly displayed the theme I was going for. As we came together as one, it seemed like there was a sense of peace and calmness that fell over the room." Photographer Temilola Ajibulu was there to capture the magical moments from the ceremony. Keep reading to see the beautiful photos from the wedding that took this couple from college sweethearts to lovers for life.
