Airline Knows How to Treat Its Smallest Passengers — and Their Stressed Moms

An airline's crew members recently showed how every passenger — even their smallest ones — should be treated onboard a flight, and hearts are melting across the internet.

When an ambitious mom boarded her Finnair flight with her boys, including two who are infants, the crew immediately spotted a problem. "Naturally one cannot travel with two babies on one's lap, so we had to solve the dilemma of a missing lap," Ami Niemela shared on Instagram. "Otherwise it would have been a no go for mom and the kids."

However, making mom figure out alternative flight arrangements wasn't necessary. Instead, a generous man in uniform, who happens to be a pilot, stepped in and became her unofficial hero. "Luckily, we had our positioning crew on board and wonderful Tom took the task of being the extra lap," she wrote. "Don't you find them quite adorable?"
