Dad "Scored Big" Points With His 3-Year-Old Daughter Thanks to This DIY Birthday Gift

With just plywood, pink and purple paint, and Google as his inspiration, one dad just made his 3-year-old daughter's birthday wishes come true with a DIY princess castle bed she's sure to cherish for years to come.

The Boston-area dad, who goes by mrwhibbley on Reddit, posted a photo of the bed, which he says "wasn't hard" to make (could've fooled us!). "Scored big 'daddy points' with my daughter's third birthday present," the dad wrote on his photo post. "Her very own princess castle bed."

Although we're incredibly impressed with this dad's skills, it seems as though this princess bed wasn't his first rodeo. The dad shared with other Reddit users a rocket ship bed he constructed for his son. Not only that, but he already has plans for his son's "next bed," according to the comments section: "a bunk bed/fire truck with a fire pole, ladder, and a desk/play area/library underneath."

"Daddy points," indeed!
