Kit Kat Bites Recalled in the UK For Potential Peanut Allergy

If you live in the UK, you may want to check your children's Easter baskets. Nestlé UK announced a recall of Kit Kat Original Milk Chocolate Bites with the batch code 70720457V2 due to a peanut butter mix-up. Some Chocolate Bites might actually contain Peanut Butter Bites instead.

An official statement reads: "Although these packs are labelled with 'may contain peanuts and nuts' there is a risk to anyone with a nut or peanut allergy who may consume their contents without realising. We are therefore making this recall as a precaution."

Nestlé UK is also offering a full refund to anyone who purchased the product with the respective batch code. Get more information on where to send your refund request.
