Hero Target Employee Grants Mom "Easiest Checkout With a Toddler" by Starting a Dance Party

Stefanie Bradbard Elliott noticed her 2-year-old daughter, Evallyn, was a bit more energetic (read: unruly) than usual, despite bringing along some toys to keep her occupied on their recent Target run. Fortunately, Stefanie had better luck in the checkout line after a Target employee named AJ opened a new lane and asked Evallyn a few questions before challenging her to an adorable dance-off sans music. Um, talk about the greatest distraction of all time? The mom posted a video of the pair breaking it down to her town's Facebook group and, spoiler alert, people are obsessed with it.

The busy mama told The Patch just how stressful the trip was until Evallyn made her new friend. "Just before this video, my daughter was following me to checkout on her knees, dragging her huge shoes that she insisted on wearing. At the same time, I was telling her to stand up and giving her 'the look' that most moms have to convey they mean business."

And as you can imagine, Stefanie welcomed the help with open arms.

"The employee was still directing customers to different checkout lines while dancing and had such a genuine kindness about her," said Stefanie. "It's hard to explain how much it means when you are just out of patience and someone steps in and does something to ease the tension, even if it's just to give you a five-minute break."

Roger that.

As soon AJ stepped in, the whole checkout process got a heck of a lot easier for Stefanie. And according to The Patch, she reached out to Stefanie afterward via Facebook message to let her know she's up for breaking it down any day of the week, writing, "I'm so happy to have helped in just a little way. I hope to see you guys again soon for another dance party!"

So stinkin' cute!
